Access WNY is a pivotal organization serving the Western New York community by championing the needs and rights of immigrants and refugees. With a focus on education, legal support, and cultural integration, Access WNY empowers individuals to navigate their new environment and build successful lives. The organization’s comprehensive programs address essential aspects of resettlement and adaptation, fostering a sense of belonging and opportunity. By working collaboratively with local partners and leveraging community resources, Access WNY ensures that every individual has access to the tools and support necessary for achieving their fullest potential.

The Buffalo chapter of Habitat for Humanity focuses on providing affordable housing solutions through various programs. They build and renovate homes in partnership with local families, offering them a path to homeownership. The organization also runs the Habitat ReStore, which sells donated building materials and home goods to fund their projects. Additionally, Habitat for Humanity Buffalo offers financial education and home maintenance workshops to help families succeed as homeowners. Through these efforts, they aim to strengthen the community and provide stable housing for those in need.


OLV Human Services, inspired by Father Nelson Baker's legacy, supports children, adolescents, and adults in Western New York. Their programs include residential treatment for youth with emotional challenges, educational services for children with disabilities, and support for individuals with developmental disabilities. They also offer foster care, emergency placements, preventive services, and vocational training for youth. Additionally, OLV operates a dental center for community care, embodying a longstanding commitment to those in need.
The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA) is a non-profit organization focused on affordable homeownership. It offers the Best in America Mortgage with no down payment, no closing costs, no fees, and below-market fixed interest rates. NACA provides comprehensive housing counseling and uses character-based lending, not considering credit scores. Their programs include the Purchase Program, Purchase & Rehab Mortgage, and the Homeownership Through Public Housing Assistance (HOT-PHA) program. NACA has helped over 75,000 people, primarily people of color, become homeowners with a very low foreclosure rate. Additionally, NACA supports renters with advocacy for emergency rental assistance and eviction prevention
